Ty Brown

Partner & Brand Ambassador | Legal Innovation & Law Firm AI Strategy

Ty Brown helps law firms adopt artificial intelligence in ways that actually work inside real legal practices. Rather than chasing trends or experimental tools, he focuses on identifying a small number of high-impact AI use cases, redesigning workflows around them, and ensuring systems are implemented safely, ethically, and in ways attorneys will actually use.

Ty is a practicing personal injury attorney with over a decade of experience implementing AI systems inside live law firms.

About Ty Brown

Ty Brown is a Partner and Brand Ambassador at Levantage, where he works directly with small to mid-sized law firms—particularly personal injury firms—to modernize operations through practical, risk-aware AI implementation.

Ty is not a career technologist or consultant theorizing from the outside. He is a practicing personal injury attorney with over a decade of experience in litigation, firm operations, and legal business management. He began implementing AI systems inside a live law firm in 2020, long before most firms were seriously evaluating artificial intelligence. That hands-on experience shapes how he approaches AI today: as a legal and operational discipline, not a technology experiment.

In his work, Ty helps firms reduce administrative overhead through intelligent automation and workflow design, freeing attorneys to focus on higher-value legal work while improving client experience and firm profitability. His philosophy is straightforward—build systems that support lawyers, not tools that distract them.

Thought Leadership & Perspective

Ty approaches artificial intelligence with healthy skepticism and legal discipline. His work centers on a simple belief: AI should reduce risk and friction inside a law firm, not create new ones.

Rather than promoting broad transformation narratives, Ty focuses on governance, workflow fit, and measurable outcomes. He helps firms avoid hype cycles, poorly integrated tools, and unnecessary ethical exposure by treating AI as part of the legal system itself—not an external add-on.

This grounded, experience-driven approach is what resonates most with firm owners who want results without gambling their practice.
